Elevator pitch no. 2

https://youtu.be/rpDDZ3X7YOs

I received positive and helpful feedback from my peers, to make sure to project my voice and use hand motions to make it seem like I’m moving. I expected more negative feedback. I thought there would be feedback on how short my video was and how fast I talked. I changed my presentation by being longer, using more hand motions, and made my video longer with more important points.

  1. Hey Lauren!! The difference between your first and second elevator pitch is huge. You did a great job incorporating the feedback you received from the first elevator pitch assignment into the second one. I know I had a hard time hearing you in the first one, but had no problem hearing and understanding you in this one. Keep up the great work!

  2. Hi Lauren!
Although I did not see you first video, based on the summary of feedback you received, it is evident that you have worked to deliver your presentation in a thorough cohesive way. I would suggest that the introduction could be removed, per Dr. Pryor's lecture. He has said that it can waste valuable time and attention of your listeners. I would have loved to know a bit more about the distribution process for your app's content, ie. through quizzes, lecture style delivery etc. This would have helped to explain the feasibility a bit better as well. Overall, great work!

  3. Hi Lauren!

I really enjoyed watching your elevator pitch. I definitely noticed the hand gestures that you implemented, which made the presentation more interactive. While I understand that you were wanting to slow down your pace, I felt as if there were times were a slightly faster tempo would have been more engaging and allow for greater fluidity. Lastly, I would love to hear more details about the app (it seemed a bit too vague)---what type of games, content, or designs would be entailed within the app?
